I bought the golden shatter effect by Barry M in Canterbury some weeks ago. Now I've tried it for the first time on top of a red nailpolish.
It was a bit hard to get the right amount, not too much not too little, seems like it only went just right on the last few nails. ;-)
Must say that the base coat wasn't optimal anymore. Anyway, it's a nice effect, but not something I'd use every week. More for a party or something. And a dark base colour is needed for full effect. I think this red is the lightest you can go.
Other shatter colours are available (black, purple, white,...)
