Hair: Smooth Infusion - Aveda

One of the best products imaginable for smooth, glossy hair that's easily manageable.
Aveda has a brilliant range of products that all have that wonderful smell and amazing result.
When I went to the hair salon to have my hair cut almost 3 weeks ago, they used this and I liked it so much, when I noticed lookfantastic.co.uk had a special reduction on Aveda products I quickly ordered a bottle.

Haircare: Fekkai Coiff Controle

My new haircut requires more hair straightening. But we all know that those damned hair straighteners aren't the best friend of your hair. So....I found this amazing product on lookfantastic that you can use without hair straighteners!

Beauty: New Haircut

Went for a badly needed haircut today and went Pulp Fiction on it. Shorter at the back (she actually took her razors...) ... and I'm very pleased with the result!

I love luscious and wavy hair and I'm extremely lucky to have thick, easy and slightly wavy hair of my own. Now that it's growing longer again (after periods of shoulder length, short, etc) I've resorted back to using my curlers!

I was recently shopping in my local drugstore when I noticed that after L'Oréal and Schwartzkopf, Garnier now also has a mousse hair dye. As I've posted before, I'm 100% happy with the John Frieda one but I wanted to try this one out as well.

I always tend to buy a lot of shampoo and other haircare products when in the UK, the range is wider and more varied.
At Superdrug, I bought a whole stash of Frizz Miracle Shampoo & Conditioner by Aussie. This is my absolute n°1 shampoo. After only one rinse, my hair is shiny, frizz-free, and luscious. You can't imagine how happy I am with it! :-)

One of my favourite shops is Boots. But now I noticed, actually I already noticed it when I was in London in August, that Superdrug is slightly cheaper than Boots! So we first went to Superdrug (next post) and what we couldn't find there, we bought at Boots. Again, some special offers and reductions were in order. result: me happy! :-)

When I was in London in August, I - as usual - raided Boots & Superdrug, and bought this new brand Aussie. There was a special offer and obviously, I had to try it.

Beauty: Instant va va voom with Charles Worthington

Since a couple of weeks I'm using the full volume mussed up texturising spray by Charles Worthington.

It's a very effective product that gives great result if you have longer locks and you want that natural schwung in your hair. 

The way I use it: after I've washed my hair I apply a styling spray, start to blowdry my hair and when it's still moist, I use the mussed up spray before I finish drying. The result is incredibly full hair that feels light and is easy to style.

But it's equally handy to use on dry hair. It then creates a very sexy look.
