Make Up: Urban Decay De-slick mattifying powder

Being trapped in the current heatwave, I try to keep my make up fresh and glimmer free...Sadly, my trusted Kryolan transluscent powder is not sufficient under these conditions.
However, I bought Urban Decay's de-slick mattifying powder recently and it's a miracle! My face stays glimmer-free ALL day!!!

I searched in so many shops and then found some online, quite overpriced to be honest. And I still have some new ones in my stash but what did I notice when I stepped into my local HEMA shop the other day?
They have brush cleaner!!!

I'm very wary of commercials stating that lipstick or lipgloss lasts hours and hours. However, we have this consumer's program here, Volt,  that tests products and see what's real and what isn't. This lipgloss/lipstick did what it promised. So, worth to check it out!

Cosmeticaproducten zijn beperkt houdbaar

Ongeopend zijn cosmeticaproducten vaak vele jaren houdbaar. Eens geopend, kunnen ze maar een beperkte tijd bewaard worden. Daarom noteert u het best ergens de precieze datum waarop u het make-upproduct hebt opengemaakt. De minimale houdbaarheid van een cosmeticaproduct wordt niet beïnvloed als u het even opent in de winkel. De contacttijd is erg kort en producten zijn voldoende geconserveerd om (voortijdig) bederf te voorkomen.
Wanneer een product na openen beperkt houdbaar is, staat de houdbaarheid van het product op het etiket aangegeven met een symbooltje: een potje met een deksel. In het symbool of erachter staat de periode dat het product houdbaar is na openen, bijvoorbeeld 12 M = twaalf maanden na opening.

I bought this Make up Brush cleaner at Sephora in Nice after having looked for a product like this for a long time. I know something like this exists of Mac, but when I checked they were out of stock, so I was very happy to find this at Sephora.

Night for Beauty Queens - report

Last week, my good friend since we were 12 years old, Marian, organised an evening for beauty queens. You could go for a colour analysis, have your make up done, buy jewellery, buy make up, have a fitness analysis, ... She also sells this amazing professional make up. I have already a nice stash of her products and it's the best.

Marian is a professional stylist, make up artist, colour expert, personal shopper,...
It turned out to be a fun night and also very informative. Had my colours done (of course a winter type, as expected ;-) ), had my eyes done (great smokey eyes!) and met some new friends, including a stunning model Sofie.
In short, a true fun girls' night out!

Beauty: True Match

It's hard to find the perfect foundation. In summer I only use a tinted day cream with SPF but in winter I need more colour or I'd become totally transparent. ;-)
I don't really have a foundation I'm loyal to, I seem to try different sorts all the time. Some are good, some aren't.
Now I'm using L'Oréal's True Match (colour: Vanilla Rose 02)

Beauty: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

I'm an eyeliner girl. And have been since I was 17. So I have used lots and lots of various pencils and crayons and have been very pleased by some and hugely disappointed by others. We are now talking about the black line under the eye...think Chrissy Hynde or Shirley Manson. It's my trademark look, in fact.
I bought the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in jet black (obviously) a while back and now just started to use it.
